Our faithful ship for this odyssey to the South is our beloved little Dolphin RV, seen below on a few of its trips. After suffering through his first Burning Man baking in a tent in 2008, Joe decided that a simple RV would be the best thing for those adventures. We thought we wouldn’t get much use out of it other than our annual escape to the desert, but it turned out to be a very nice vehicle for travel. Though I’m not sure how many miles we’ve put on it over the last 4 years, it has been as far as the inner coast of Baja, Mexico and the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Our latest trip will definitely be its furthest though, covering approximately 7,000 miles in about 3 weeks.
